Road Safety
As popular landlord of The Forester's Arms in Anns Hill Road, Rob Hylands can be relied upon to defend
our local pubs from closure and support our local shops and businesses. Life-long Gosport resident Rob is

Local community groups benefit
A number of local organisations are benefiting from grants awarded by Gosport and Hampshire County
Councillor PETER CHEGWYN (right). Groups already awarded funding by Peter include Felicia Park, Elson
Junior School, HEDCA, GADSAD, Beryton Road Residents Association, Gosport BMX Club, a Youth Club

The campaign to save Haslar Hospital
Lib Dem DAVE SMITH (left), former leader of Gosport Borough Council, led the campaign to try to save
Haslar Hospital. Dave set up numerous meetings with developers to discuss proposals for a 250-bed
treatment centre and clinic at the site. Dave also led the successful negotiations to bring the Pompey
Training ground to Gosport, which will mean new sports facilities for local people and schoolchildren at
NO COST to local taxpayers.

Bridgemary News
Tory Councillor reported to Standards Board
Angry residents have reported the Conservative
councillor for Bridgemary North to the Standards
Board for failing to reply to letters, emails and
phone calls or say where he lives.  Tory
Councillor Keith Edwards is believed to be living
on a boat somewhere in Portsmouth Harbour but
Council publications give his home address as the
Conservative Party office in Stoke Road.
Bridgemary Lib Dems say Mr. Edwards should
come clean about where he really resides and
start doing the job he was elected to do or resign.
